After retirement Carol extended her love of teaching, often substituting for her daughter Courtney and her many friends at Birchwood.
Carol spent summers at her family’s cottage in Lake George, her favorite place in the world. From the time she was just a newborn, until the last summer of her life, she cherished the experiences, life-long friendships and memories she made there. Per Carol’s wishes, her ashes will be spread in the area so a piece of her is always there.
Carol was known for her incredible selfless spirt and the way she welcomed everyone into her home and life. She was a faithful friend and anyone who met her, quickly grew to love her! Carol was extraordinarily dedicated to her family, so giving of her time, support and love. Later in life Carol cherished the time she spent babysitting her great nephews and caring for her grandchildren, the light of her life.
