Glenville- Joyce Ewashko 83, died Monday evening, February 28, 2011 after a long illness.
Joyce was born in Clayville, NY, daughter of the late Clarence and Pauline Travis Castle.
She was a secretary for 34 years at Christ Church in Glens Falls. Joyce was an avid hiker and loved to ski. She was a member of the Crooked Cane Skiing and hiking club and an accomplished Adirondack 46er .
Joyce is survived by her husband of 28 years, John Ewashko of Glenville; her son, Gary Moon and several grandchildren. Predeceased by a son, Bobby Moon and a daughter, Maureen McMillan. At Joyce's request, there will be no funeral services and her ashes will be scattered in her beloved Adirondacks.
